REFLECT AND MAKE A CHANGE

 Ever since I joined the read and lead Group, I found a family away from home. Every minute I spent on this group I learnt something new about myself, people around me and the society we find ourselves.For the past 2 months, the founder of this group, Olawale D’anchor, reminded us constantly to “reflect”. Today, I took my time to reflect and I came up with this post.It is very rare to see a group of youths in this generation making a change, but this group has done that. But the question I want to ask today is, are we doing enough. Sit back and think are we doing enough? There are major projects we should embark on, projects that will change people’s lives for good. We must not be paid to make changes. We must put in all our efforts even if people don’t seem to appreciate us. I took my time to enlist some projects we can embark on. Few of them are stated below.
• Organize a ‘readers’ forum’: readers’ forum is a platform where youths come together to analyze motivational books or history books we have gone through within the week. Or analyze the latest development in our society.
• Donate books we do not need to our neighboring schools, which do not have a library.
• Organize seminar or tutorials for students around our neighborhoods.
• Have an educative magazine.
• Have a public library.
• Educate people in our environment who do not have enough money for school etc.
These are few relevant ways we can touch lives around us. Everything is possible if we think, believe and work towards it.
